Questions

Everything people ask us.

Cost, timing, how much we can stitch, and what we need from the room. If something isn't here, just ask and we'll add it.

How much does a live embroidery event cost?

$300 for the first three hours, then $75 for each additional hour. Embroidered initials of one to three letters are $5 per item on top of that, so the total depends on how many guests take part.

A three-hour party where fifty guests each have something monogrammed comes to $300 for the time plus $250 for the items — $550 altogether. That price covers machine setup and operation, all the embroidery supplies, and personalization right through the event.

Send us the date, the guest count and where it's happening, and we'll come back within one business day with an exact quote that includes travel, if there is any. The quote is the price; we don't add to it afterward. Full pricing is here.

How far in advance should we book?

Two to three weeks is comfortable for most events. October through April is the busy half of the Valley calendar and fills up earlier, so a wedding or a holiday party is worth asking about sooner.

If you'd like a logo or a custom design stitched, add about a week so we can get it ready ahead of time. Initials, names and dates need no lead time at all.

How many pieces can you actually stitch in an hour?

This is the number most worth knowing before you book, so here it is plainly. It's one machine and one pair of hands, and that's what makes the table feel personal rather than like a production line:

WhatEachPer hour
Initials on a sock or a napkin5 minutesabout 12
A small piece (hat, tote, cuff)10 to 15 minutes4 to 6
A large piece (jacket back, blanket)30 minutes2

Fifty guests at five minutes each is a little over four hours of stitching. So a fifty-person event usually means quick initials and three hours or more. If you'd like pieces bigger than initials, we'll either plan for fewer guests at the table or stay a little longer — we'll work that out with you beforehand.

We'd much rather talk it through now than have you find out on the day.

Where do you travel?

The greater Phoenix metro area is included. We're based in Gilbert, so Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek and Tempe are practically next door, and Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix and the rest of the Valley are all comfortably within reach.

Further out we can usually still come, with a travel charge based on the mileage. Tell us where the event is when you inquire and the quote will include it, so there's nothing to work out later.

What do you need from us on the day?

A power outlet within reach of the table. That is the one thing we cannot work around, since the machine has to be plugged in.

Beyond that: room for a table, the machine, and a small queue of people waiting. Enough light to match thread by eye. Somewhere guests can stand and watch, because watching is most of the appeal.

Who supplies the pieces being stitched?

Usually you. Most hosts bring their own: totes, hats, socks, napkins, handkerchiefs, robes, whatever suits the event. We bring the machine, the thread and the hands.

Sometimes us. We can source and stock the pieces instead. Say so early, because it changes both the quote and the lead time.

Can you stitch our logo?

Yes, we'd love to. Send us your artwork and we'll get it ready to stitch, setting it up by hand so it comes out crisp on whatever it's going on. We'll match thread to your colors as closely as thread allows, and tell you honestly if a particular shade can't be matched.

Please allow one week to prepare the design before your event date. There's a one-time $15 charge to set a logo up, and after that it's ready to use again any time.

What kind of events does this suit?

Weddings and showers, boutique trunk shows, resort and spa guest experiences, small brand dinners and press days, corporate gifting, birthdays and milestone parties — and plenty of things we haven't thought of yet. If you have something in mind, just ask.

Do you still take custom orders?

Yes, we embroider a variety of different items. Please send an inquiry for any specific requests.

It's usually around seven to ten days for a single piece and a little longer for a set, and we'll always tell you the timing before you commit. Custom pricing is here.
